Our Counselor

Jennifer Hicks has worked in Christian counseling centers for over 25 years. In her counseling, she combines genuine compassion, grace-filled Biblical truths, a solid education and professional experience. Jennifer and her husband are the proud parents of a teenager & a young adult and also consider their dogs an important part of the family. Jennifer grew up as a PK (preacher's kid), so she also has a special passion for counseling people who work in ministry & their families. That is also part of where her calling to become a counselor came from and is reflected in her love of Jesus & her love of people.

She uses a combination of therapy techniques & theories, especially CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), person-centered, interpersonal, & emotionally focused.
